how to build a hanging light from a drop ceiling?

I want to put a hanging light from a drop ceiling - nothing fancy, just a bulb and a shade but I need to know the parts to get to connect this to an outlet that is high on the wall near the ceiling.

you can get little clip or slide in hooks for hanging plants or lights to a drop ceiling... get two one to hold the light and one to hold the cord at the wall... very much like the Swag Lamps
